The first scheduled weekend of training is coming up this Saturday and Sunday.  This is an informal weekend of free-skiing with the coaches.  Those racers headed for Canada next week should ski at least one day to try new boots, make sure skis and bindings are working, and get your ski legs back.  NO ONE should use new skis this weekend.

Be sure to check the weather forecast.  As of today, there is no snow on the Mile or around the Timberline lodge.  However, wet and cold weather is approaching.  If weather closes Palmer on Saturday there will be no skiing.  If weather closes Palmer on Sunday we will have dryland training at the Academy House.

Meet at the fireplace in the Day Lodge by 8:30 each morning.  If you need to pick up your Fusion Pass plan to arrive a little early.  The price for a daily ticket is $38.  Be sure to check this website Friday for any update, and call the message phone after 5:00pm Friday for last minute info, 503-272-0109.

Program information was recently mailed and is now available on-line.  Click on Mitey Mites or MHA Juniors to the right for updated info.  Also, please see the Fall Meeting flyer and the Auction Fundraising letter from the board.

We hope to take care of most equipment needs at our Fall Meeting on Sunday the 14th.  Be sure to bring your good used equipment to sell and pass down to younger racers.  Also, please check out the SPEEDYS web site.  There are many great deals on equipment, accessories, wax, tools, etc.  When ordering from SPEEDYS' online store, please input MHSEF in the designated box in the shopping cart/checkout/manager so that MHSEF will get the 7% SPEEDYS' donation.  So far SPEEDYS has donated over $500 to MHSEF!

The Mitey Mite schedule on the web site Calender has been updated.  Be sure to regularly check the calendar for changes and additions.
