Events will include Classic Cross Country and Jumping on Friday, Giant Slalom on Saturday, and SL on Sunday.
PRELIMINARY EVENT INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY & CLASSES: The championship is open to J5 competitors (ages 9 & 10) and J4 competitors (ages 11 & 12). Age is determined as of December 31, 2009.

4-Way Entry* (XC, Jump, SL, GS) – $80.00
*Must register for all events to be eligible for the Ski Meister Award.
Alpine Entry only (SL & GS) – $60.00
ENTRY DEADLINE: Completed entry forms, entry fees, and liability release must be received by 6:00pm, Tuesday, February 2nd. Absolutely, no entries will be accepted by phone or on the day of the race. A List of Competitors will be posted on the Internet Wednesday night, February 3rd. Please verify receipt of your entry at www.mthoodacademy.com. Total race field will be limited to 200 competitors.
CUTTING the FIELD: The Oregon 4-Way Championship attracts many young racers from around the Northwest. The race field will not exceed 200 total boys and girls. If the field must be cut the following procedure will be used: First, any racer without a complete and paid entry will be cut; second, racers from teams outside Oregon will be cut - youngest racers to oldest racers. Racers cut from the event will have their entry fee check destroyed or (PayPal) refunded.
CANCELLATION: Racers who wish to cancel their entry must do so by 6:00pm on Thursday the 4th. There will be no refunds of any kind after Thursday.
RACER BIBS: Bibs will be issued by team each morning at Race Registration (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). On Friday, competitors will use the same bib for both Nordic events, and return bibs after the Jumping competition to the Multorpor Lodge. On Saturday and Sunday, competitors will return bibs each day to the scoreboard at the completion of each alpine event. Racers will be charged $50 for missing bibs and/or not allowed to compete in the next competition.

RACE LOCATIONS: The Classic Cross Country and Jumping events will be held at Skibowl East (Multorpor). The Giant Slalom race will be held on Reynolds Run at Skibowl West. Sunday's Slalom event will be held on the Cascade Chair, again at Skibowl East (Multorpor).
LIFT TICKETS: Racer lift tickets are $22.00 and must be purchased each day. On Friday and Sunday, tickets are purchased at the Multorpor ticket booth in the parking lot. All racer tickets on Saturday will be purchased at the Skibowl West ticket windows behind the Skibowl Lodge.

AWARDS: Awards will be presented after the completion of each day’s events. The Skimeister Award will be given to the boy and girl in each age class, J4 & J5, with the best all-around performance from all 4 events. Time and location tba.
