On line registration is now open for the 78th Annual Golden Rose Slaloms May 25-26, 2013 at Timberline in Government Camp OR. There will be 2SL each day for a total of 4 for the weekend! The race is open to U14 and older USSA licensed racers. You can buy tickets for the 2013 Summer Sports Raffle when you register for the race. You can also buy raffle tickets here. This year the raffle prizes include a summer ski pass at Timberline, a $500 shopping spree at Hillcrest Sports, a Deschutes white water rafting trip, a golf and spa weekend at the Inn at the Mountain, a summer ski camp with Mt. Hood Academy, windsurfing lessons and lodging in Hood River, and a Columbia Sports camping package. Tickets at $15 for one or two for $25. You do not need to be present to win.

Registration is now open for the Annual MHA MHRT Awards Party on Monday, May 13th at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Clackamas; arrival after 5:00pm w/ dinner at 6:00pm. If you are going to attend you must register and pay on line for your meals by 9 PM May 8th.

The first Mighty Mite race of the season is the Kids Kandahar GS Sunday January 6 at Skibowl. Race registration is now open. We need all families to volunteer to help us run the race. Please look at this spreadsheet, see what jobs are open and email us to with what job you would like to do. All volunteers will get a lift ticket for the day and a voucher for a lift ticket any future day except Saturdays.

Skibowl is opening! All MHRT groups, and MHA JRs returning from the Russ Read GS will be training at Multorpor. Meet the coaches by 9:00am at the Multorpor Lodge.

MHA Alpine team training begins this weekend. Weather Saturday is not favorable. We will hope to Ski Sunday. Meet the coaches in the day lodge at 8:30. Check the Timberline ski phone for updates. If we cannot ski we will do dryland training.

Dryland training continues this Sunday. We had agood turnout last week and hope to see more of you this Sunday. The community college facilities are not vailable this year so dryland has been moved. Meet the coaches at 12:00 noon at the Sandy High School track. Turn north off of highway 26 onto Bluff Road at the stop light and go about half a mile. The track will be on your left. All athletes U10 and older are encouraged to attend.
